The Apohem online pharmacy is growing rapidly and has gotten off to a strong start in the past year. This autumn Apohem moves to a new e-commerce warehouse. At an expanded warehouse in the Årsta district in Stockholm, the online pharmacy will be next door to the e-commerce warehouses of Willys, Hemköp and Mat.se, which creates opportunities for synergies. At the same time, it is more than doubling the staff.

The warehouse in Årsta is one of Stockholm’s most centrally located e-commerce warehouses. It is currently being renovated, rebuilt and expanded to better meet the increased requirements of e-commerce. The total storage area for Apohem will amount to more than 2,500 square metres, which provides capacity for continued growth – and potential for synergies.

“The move to Årsta is a big and important step for Apohem. Next door to Willys, Hemköp and Mat.se, our group siblings, we will create the potential for synergies while building an excellent workplace for both existing and new colleagues,” says Apohem CEO Gustav Hasselgren.

The move will take place in the autumn, but Apohem is already starting to recruit staff in a number of different capacities for the continued expansion.

“To begin with, we are recruiting a warehouse manager, who will be a key player in the future. We will also recruit pharmacists, several warehouse employees and new colleagues in sales, marketing and customer service. The growth means that during the year we will more than double Apohem’s staff,” says Hasselgren.
