Nov 5, 2020

The Leader of the Year award is awarded to a person who has shown outstanding leadership in Swedish business or administration. The winner is chosen by a jury of leading figures in Swedish business, after extensive research work.

The jury’s motivation reads: “With a change-oriented leadership that combines the ability to listen with sharp analysis and a business-oriented attitude, this year’s leader has lifted one of Sweden’s largest companies to record results”.

“Of course, it’s really great to receive this award. It is a fine recognition of the changes that we have jointly implemented at Axel Johnson over the last five years. Our focus is to build companies that we can be proud of,” says Mia Brunell Livfors.

The jury consists of Oskar Almén, partner PA Consulting, Jan Dernestam, MP Mannheimer Swartling, Johan Forssell, CEO Investor, Carl-Henrik Hallström, MD Wipro, Maria Rankka, former head of Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, Helena Stjernholm, CEO Industrivärden, Göran Lind, Managing Editor of Affärsvärlden, Charlotte Wetterlundh, partner Korn Ferry and Jonas Wiström, CEO Ratos.
