RCO Security AB acquires a majority holding in Easy Access AS, a leading provider of biometric and digital locking and security solutions for the consumer market.
The consumer market for digital locks has grown significantly in recent years. Behind this growth are global trends such as IoT and the smart home, where digital locks are an important component in increasing the convenience of, for example, deliveries of services and products into the home. As these trends become stronger, with e-commerce increasing as well, the digital lock market is expected to grow strongly in the coming years.

Easy Access was launched in 2009 and delivers biometric and electronic locks and security solutions to consumers primarily in Norway and Denmark. The company has focused on quality and design right from the start and had an early focus on integration within the ecosystem around the smart home. Since the beginning, Easy Access has sold more than 150,000 locks to consumers all over Scandinavia.
