On June 2, this year's edition of Järvaveckan kicks off, a meeting place with the aim of bridging the gap between politics and citizens and increasing community engagement. Axel Johnson is the main partner of Järvaveckan, which will be broadcast live around the clock from June 2 to June 6.
Social exclusion can not only cause economic vulnerability and a sense of hopelessness among individuals and groups, but it is also a significant loss for society, missing out on human potential, experiences, perspectives, and ideas.
Starting on June 2 at 07:00, companies, associations, authorities, politicians, and citizens will come together to discuss democracy, equality, inclusion, and the labor market. Järvaveckan is digital this year and goes by the name Järvaveckan Live. All programs will be broadcast live from a studio in the Stockholm suburb of Rinkeby around the clock for five days. Axel Johnson will participate in several important discussions.
Mia Brunell Livfors, CEO Axel Johnson:
"Axel Johnson has been the main partner of The Global Village Foundation and Järvaveckan since its inception. The developments of the past year have made the issues of inclusion addressed during the week even more urgent. As we are convinced that entrepreneurship has an important positive role to play in reducing social exclusion, we are proud to be part of Järvaveckan and the broad participation from our companies."
The broadcast will be streamed via the Järvaveckan website, where the entire schedule will also be available. Parts of Järvaveckan Live will also be broadcast on SVT, TV4, TT, and Mitti.
